EVOLVING THE SCION TECHNOLOGY TOGETHER

The SCION technology comes from innovation developed at ETH Zurich and other institutions. We help bring this innovation to the market, making SCION research widely available. We promote collaboration under an open and transparent governance in our Committees, to improve and evolve the technology.

We create the specifications to implement SCION, with the goal of making it a global Internet standard and work at established Standards Development Organizations like the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

We’re dedicated to promoting global SCION adoption through four expert-led committees comprising members from our Member organizations, synergistically addressing key aspects of SCION development, deployment, and advocacy.

Standardization Committee

At the forefront of establishing and maintaining the SCION specification, ensuring a unified and interoperable framework across diverse applications and industries. It facilitates contributions of the SCION community to Standards Development Organizations such as the IETF.
